Terms and Conditions
- PLAYCE App (“PLAYCE”) is a mobile application and loyalty programme developed and operated by PPB Properties (“Developer”), downloadable from the Apple Store, Google Play Stores and Huawei App Gallery.
Membership & Eligibility
- The membership of PLAYCE App is open to all Malaysian residents and expatriates residing in Malaysia, who have attained the age of eighteen (18) years old & above at the time of membership registration.
- During the membership registration process, individual is required to provide the latest, accurate, complete information and give consent to the processing of the Personal Data provided in accordance with the Privacy Policy and Personal Data Notice. Individual also further acknowledge and agree to the disclosure, transfer, retrieval, updating and processing of the Personal Data. For avoidance of doubt, if the Personal Data compulsorily required (marked with asterisk (*)) for the purposes stated herein are not provided, individual is unable to proceed with registering as a Member.
- By signing up for the membership of PLAYCE App, Member shall be deemed to have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions shall also apply in relation to any Personal Data provided by the member. - Each registered Member shall only hold one (1) membership only at any one time and multiple membership is not allowed. Member will be issued a membership E-Card which is available on the profile page in the PLAYCE App. We reserve the right to approve and grant membership and suspend or terminate membership in our sole and absolute discretion.
- Upon the cancellation or termination of membership, all information provided by the Member will be deleted will not be retrievable.
Collection of Points
- Member can earn Point(s) upon a Qualifying Purchase is made from Participating Retailers across PPB Properties Malls. All receipts that do not meet the Qualifying Purchase shall be disregarded and not entitled to earn Point(s).
- Member must submit the Receipt of Qualifying Purchase via PLAYCE App no later than the same day of purchase (11.59pm).
- Only original machine-generated Receipt(s) of Qualifying Purchase with visible Participating Retailers’ name and required information will be accepted. Handwritten receipts, bill/utilities payments, stored value cards, top-up transactions, pawn receipts, duplicate receipts, food delivery, online purchase, pre-order sales receipt, purchases offset with rebates, points or cash vouchers, pushcarts and vendors at promotional areas are strictly not be eligible to earn Point(s).
- Receipt(s) of Qualifying Purchase used in any other redemptions, rebates, giveaways organized by any of the PPB Properties Malls and Participating Retailers are not accepted.
- Receipt(s) of Qualifying Purchase can only be submitted one time for approval. Limited to maximum of first three (3) receipts submitted per day and maximum of one thousand (1,000) Points per Member per day.
- Receipt(s) of Qualifying Purchase submitted successfully via PLAYCE App to be processed within 1 – 3 days and Member will receive notifications after review of approval. The review and approval of Receipt(s) of Qualifying Purchase may be delayed until the Receipt(s) of Qualifying Purchase have been fully verified.
- Point(s) will not be credited into until Receipt(s) of Qualifying Purchase is determined by us to be valid. Receipt(s) submitted with breach of any of these Terms and Conditions may be rejected and any such decisions shall be considered final and conclusive. Point(s) that have already been credited maybe cancelled/deleted/deducted in our absolute discretion.
- No Point(s) will be credited in respect of a Receipt(s) of Qualifying Purchase which you have requested to return the product or a refund of the listed price of the product purchased.
- Receipt(s) member will be awarded 1 point for every RM1.00 of the “Net Purchase Amount” (if any value after decimal, to be rounded down to the nearest RM1.00) from purchase of goods/services at a Participating Retailer’s outlet; and 1 point for every RM2.00 of the “Total Net Purchase Amount” (if any value after decimal, to be rounded down to the nearest RM1.00) from purchase of goods at a Participating Grocer’s outlet, unless otherwise stated.
- All Point(s) credited a calendar year will expire on the last day of that calendar year i.e. 31 December. Upon expiry, you will be given an additional six (6) months grace period to redeem the Point(s). For the avoidance of doubt, Point(s) is not entitled to any compensation in respect of any Point(s) which have been voided.
- All Point(s) shall automatically be voided upon cancellation or termination of Membership, howsoever caused. For the avoidance of doubt, For the avoidance of doubt, Point(s) is not entitled to any compensation in respect of any Point(s) which have been voided.
- All Point(s) are non-transferable and non-assignable to third parties. All Point(s) have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash and are not transferable or assignable to any other individual. The sale, auction (including online auction), barter, transfer or assignment of any accumulated Point (s) is strictly prohibited.
- Member can check the number of Point(s) via PLAYCE App or at the Customer Service Counters located in PPB Properties Malls, or via such other means as determined by us from time to time in our sole discretion.
- The criteria for Qualifying Purchases and the Point(s) Earn Rate for Qualifying Purchases shall be determined by us at our sole discretion and may vary as between PPB Properties Malls and/or Participating Retailers.
- For the avoidance of doubt, in the event of any inconsistency, the PPB Properties’ business decision shall prevail over these Terms and Conditions only to the extent of the inconsistency.
Redemption of Rewards
- Redemption of Reward(s) may only be made by Member with a good standing of account upon the time of Redemption and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
- The list of Reward(s) and the number of Point(s) required for the Redemption of the respective Rewards and shall be determined based on 1 point = RM0.01 basis. For the avoidance of doubt, We may from time to time amend the number of Point(s) required for Redemption of Rewards and/or Prizes without prior notice.
- Reward(s) are offered subject to their availability and expiry.
- Reward(s) may not be exchanged for cash and/or Point(s) and/or any other Reward(s) or item. Refunds for and/or replacements of Reward(s) will not be entertained.
- Reward(s) are further subject to all applicable rules and terms and conditions (including booking requirements, cancellation restrictions, return conditions, warranties and limitations of liability) imposed by the respective PPB Properties Malls and Participating Retailers.
- To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, we do not make any warranty or representation on any product or service offered as Reward(s) and do not accept any liability in respect of any such Reward(s).
- Any dispute arising from or relating to the goods or services received as Reward(s) and shall be resolved between Member and the supplier of the Reward(s). We shall not be liable for any claim arising from or relating to the Reward(s) and/or the Redemption process.
Personal Data Protection & Exclusion of Liability
- Upon member registration of the PLAYCE App, Member is deemed to have accepted the Terms and Conditions and the Member acknowledges and understood PPB Hartabina Sdn Bhd’s Privacy Policy and Personal Data Notice (https://ppbproperties.com.my/privacy-policy-and-personal-data-notice/) and consents to the usage, collecting, recording and processing of his/her personal data for the purposes stated in such notice and in connection herein. - PPB Properties the rights at its sole and absolute discretion to amend the Terms and conditions mentioned above or in connection with the PLAYCE App any time without prior notice.
- PPB Properties may at its absolute and sole discretion, without prior notice to Member, suspend or terminate the PLAYCE App for any reason whatsoever as we deem fit. Any membership shall be automatically voided and forfeited upon termination of PLAYCE App, howsoever caused. For the avoidance of doubt, Members shall not be entitled to any compensation in respect of any Point(s) which are voided and forfeited.
- PPB Properties decision is final and no further requests, claims or correspondence whatsoever will be entertained.
- Member shall be solely and fully liable for all transactions. Member may have exercised all reasonable precaution to prevent unauthorised use of its membership.
- Notwithstanding any other terms or conditions in these Terms and Conditions, PPB Properties not be liable for any loss, damage, inconvenience, moral distress, cost and expense of any nature (including, without limitation for any act, omission, neglect or willful default on the part of Our agents, contractors, correspondents and/or their respective officers and employees) which in any way may be suffered or incurred by any person in respect of or in connection with the PLAYCE App, including without limitation, Membership Account, Points balance, Rewards or Redemption and/or in connection with the collection, use, disclosure and/or processing of a person’s Personal Data in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. You will release and discharge us fully from all claims in relation to the aforesaid loss, damage, inconvenience, cost and/or expense.
- Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, We shall also not be liable for any direct, incidental or consequential damage or loss suffered that may result from the collection, use, disclosure and/or processing of a Person’s Personal Data, including but not limited to any loss of, or any inability to retrieve, any Personal Data, howsoever caused, or any inaccuracy in the Personal Data presented, used or transmitted.
