KUALA LUMPUR, 13 FEBRUARY 2025 – Cheras LeisureMall marks its 30th anniversary, celebrating three decades as a vibrant hub for the community. In honour of this milestone, the mall recognised 18 longstanding tenants who have been with the mall since its opening in 1994, including Popular, McDonald’s, AsterSpring, Guardian Pharmacy, Baskin-Robbins, Poh Kong, Giordano, SoxWorld, Eu Yan Sang, Minit Cobbler, and Cheinhoong Florist. Others, such as Watson’s, Wah Chan, Ogawa, Bata, Esquire Kitchen, May Xin Skin Care Centre, and Besta, were also recognised for their enduring commitment.

In line with its commitment to continuous improvement, the mall is undergoing phased asset enhancement initiatives. These upgrades include expanding alfresco areas on the ground floor and modernising facilities to provide an enhanced shopping environment.

To commemorate this milestone,  the mall launched The Grand 30 Giveaway, a special shopper reward programme from 15 February to 20 April 2025. The contest offers shoppers a chance to win prizes worth over RM200,000. Customers who sign up for the mall’s loyalty app, PLAYCE, and spend a minimum of RM300 in a maximum of two receipts on the same day at participating outlets will stand a chance to win exciting prizes, including a Haval H6 HEV, travel vouchers, home appliances, and lifestyle gadgets.

Winners of The Grand 30 Giveaway will be announced at the live Grand Draw on 27 April 2025 at 3 PM. Shoppers are invited to join the celebration and be part of this milestone event.

The celebration concluded with a lively lion dance performance and an auspicious yee sang tossing, bringing the community together in a joyous atmosphere.
